What is a Pre-Foreclosure?

What is a Court Auction or Foreclosure Sale?
This is the second stage in the Foreclosure process and happens immediately after the homeowner was unable to get back up to date with mortgage payments (or sell the home) during the Pre-forelosure phase. In this stage, interest homebuyers bid on the property in a court auction in front of a judge. It sells to the highest bidder in order to re-capture the capital the the lenders (the bank) have in the property.
